Social Disruption is a Digital PR and Brand Storytelling consultancy that specialises in helping brands shape culturally rich and purposeful communications.
The consultancy was founded March 2020 by Shannon Walker, a passionate and multi-disciplined communications professional with a mission to help change the industry culture towards putting people and purpose first to reinforce positive, uplifting and inclusive online environments.

Walker has enjoyed a career carving out a niche in the luxury consumer industry by disrupting traditional in-house PR environments and spearheading Influencer Marketing strategies that have led to triple percentage revenue growth and contributed to increased brand rankings.

This disruptive spirit led her to work at prestigious businesses such as Liberty London where she launched the retailer’s Influencer Engagement department, as well as work across KGA’s portfolio of prestige fragrance brands which includes Cartier, Elie Saab, Issey Miyake and Jimmy Choo to name a few.

As a passionate advocate for inclusivity and diversity, Social Disruption aims to add value to in-house communication departments lacking in diversity, offering a fresh perspective and support on inclusive campaigns and messages.
